We spent a year as AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America (VISTAs) with Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergencies (BRACE). We created video promotional pieces, training videos and documented disaster recovery. Are you a CERT? You ought to be.
Pensacola Rotary Clubs Tree of Remembrance
Local Rotary Clubs in the Pensacola area joined together to put up a Tree of Remembrance in Cordova Mall. Community members wrote names of family and friends on yellow ribbons pinned to a holiday tree. Donations go to local children’s organizations.
Pensacola Day of Service
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints came together to work with other organizations to beautify the campus of University of West Florida.

Frank Emond, 101 yrs, set a Guinness World Record as the oldest conductor. He performed with the Pensacola Civic Band on May 27, 2019.
